I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Settlement Historic Hotel during a business trip, which was selected by my director. The location was fantastic, making it easy to explore Echuca's historical charm. I appreciated the proximity to the river, parks, and walking tracks, as well as a car wash and a Coles supermarket just across the street. Our spacious two-bedroom apartment was clean, comfortable, and offered a lovely balcony view of the park. The staff were welcoming and provided us with great recommendations for local activities, like a good river cruise and lunch at a nearby winery. Room service was a highlight, with prompt delivery of tasty food at reasonable prices. the large double bed in our room was wonderfully comfortable, and the unique touch of free milk in a jar was a good surprise!
Rooms were a bit tired.

Everything about this pet-friendly hotel was well-maintained. The room we had was new-fashioned and adequate with a very comfortable bed, an aircon plus the laundry. The location of the property was great and lovely, within walking distance of Echuca town centre

Marvellous location easy to walk to main shopping centre, historic style building. Pet-friendly and reasonably large unit with a microwave, an electric kettle, and a refrigerator.

We had such a rough stay! The room was filthy, and despite requesting cleaning, they never bothered. Plus, there were noisy guests partying until 2 AM right outside our door. We barely slept and felt completely ignored.

The apartment was spacious, clean, and had a lovely view of the nearby park from the balcony. I appreciated the tasty room service, which arrived quickly and was fairly priced. The comfortable bed and well-kept amenities made my stay enjoyable. The hosts were welcoming and offered helpful suggestions about local attractions, making my visit all the more nice.
Some noise from the road 🚧, maybe a little dated.

Close proximity to the centre of Echuca. The cooperative Manager who assisted us when one of our party was unexpectedly ill on Sunday morning.

I loved the historic charm of this place, and the location was perfect for exploring local restaurants and shops!
I had some pretty major privacy concerns. My do not disturb sign was ignored multiple times, including when the owner barged in with a billing issue. Not cool! The windows didn’t lock either, which didn’t make me feel safe at all. Not exactly the relaxing getaway I wanted.

We had a trailer we had to park out in the street, which required us buying a couple of padlocks to ensure our trailer and items were secure overnight.

The location was perfect, just a short walk to lovely restaurants and historical attractions, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
Breakfast offerings could use more variety to satisfy different tastes.

It has a good location for the city of Echuca. Swimming pool was satisfactory. Small & clean.
Unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. A: All beds were not comfortable. Consequently, a lack of sleep was experienced. B: Not all the 'fly wire screens' were secure. Therefore, we needed to close windows to prevent Mosquito's entering the room. C: Due the windows being closed, the room lacked fresh air. Even with an air cooler was operating.
